Hello everyone!

Dear members, watchers and all fans of Doctor/Rose/Jack etiher as friends or relationship, on occasion of abundance of threes this month (3.3., 13.3., 23.3. & 31.3.'13.) we present you 3x3 contest! It's custom made to stretch all your artistic muscles on theme of our favourite trio. And I'm sure there are lots of muscles to stretch since DA is known as biggest group of ridiculously talented people.

As the name of the contests suggests your contribution will need to be threefold - it would have to have visual, audio and literary element. Your (central) deviation you'll submit to contest will have to have links to accompanied art forms in description. For example you make drawing (visual element) inspired by (yours' or else's) fanfiction (literary element) and you put link of that fanfiction in description and link to some music (audio element) that matches the mood. We tried to cover everything in the rules but just ask if you're not clear on something.



~*~Rules~*~

1. You have to make at least one form of art  or submit one already made while accompanied art should be linked in description with name of the art and artists.
  e.g. you write fanfiction with this links in the description  
  Visual: The Doctor Fan Poster by ~14540
  Audio: Chasing The Sun by The Wanted

2. If you make more than one form of art (e.g. fanfic and drawing) you'll have to chose which one will be central piece and submit it with the other(s) linked in the description
  e.g. you make fanart with link to your fanfiction and link to matching music.
  Literary: This Is Dancing by myself
  Audio: Moonlight Serenade by Glenn Miller
 
3. If your (central) art is fanart (visual) entire trio should be present, e.g. [link] If fanart is linked only one or two can be present.
  e.g. you can link this [link] image with fanfic about Jack missing Rose and the Doctor or about reunion after he thought about them.
    Visual element can be any kind: traditional, digital, comic, manips, cosplay etc.

4. If you make music as your (central) art you can upload it in video form with contest banner with links to accompanied fanart and fanfic in description.
  Audio can be any sort of music from pop, rock to instrumental and OST. Exceptions for linked art are Doctor Who/Torchwood title music and Rose/Doomsday theme. They are beautiful but overused.

5. Audio and visual can be combined in fanvideo. If fanvideo is your (central) art it has to be focused on the trio e.g. [link]. If it's accompanied art, all three just have to appear in the video, e.g. [link].

6. If your (central) art is fanfiction in size it can be from at least three drabbles to three chapters. All chapters have to have same linked art.
   If fanfiction is accompanied/linked art it can be as long or short as you like but you can link only fanfiction stories e.g. [link] not series, e.g. [link]

7. Visual and literary can be combined in a comic. Fanfic rules apply.

Whump and graphic torture is not allowed. Also please no explicit sex.

Everyone can participate. If possible inform creators of accompanied art  that they participate in the contest.


Criteria for judging are quality of contestants' art and how well all three elements match.


Winners will be chosen based on members votes, favourites admission gets and admins (if there are same/similar number of votes and favourites) in three categories:

The Strongest Shape - Doctor/Rose/Jack of any kind

The More The Merrier - For art with Jack, Rose and at least two incarnations of the Doctor

Admins' Choice

Members can send their vote by note to the group. You can't vote for yourself.


Winners will get pretty winner's banner and stamp, features on the group's journal, slavicbeastie's journal and if you agree at slavicbeastie's LJ and on youtube and maybe something alse we can think of.

Runners up will be featured in the group's yournal.


Put submissions in the contest folder. Contest will last until it has 10 submissions or until end of 2013.
